While the survey intended to collect information in regards to a potential Bike Rental Service at FIU, this study gathered insight about additional topics concerning transportation and bike services. Many students were unaware of the presence of the FIU Bike Shop, therefore future research could explore the expansion of the Shop itself, its availability to students, and even improve the services it provides. Close to 56% of students surveyed found that “Panther Movers” is not an effective method of on campus transportation. Future research could potentially delve into viable replacements for the “Panther Movers,” or explore methods of improving the transportation system.
